Undertaking nature conservation work projects in the countryside of Hurstpierpoint, Goddards Green & Sayers Common Parish and the adjacent settlements of Albourne, Hickstead, Twineham, Bolney, Ansty, Blackstone, Woodmancote, Newtimber, Edburton, Fulking, Poynings, Pyecombe, Clayton, Hassocks, Keymer, Cuckfield and Haywards Heath.

All work undertaken is on land in private ownership and is only undertaken with the consent of the landowners. The group has forged a reputation of mutual trust and respect in their dealings with landowners which has enabled many conservation projects to be undertaken. This has benefitted the value of the local countryside and survival prospects of endangered wildlife tremendously.

Our local countryside is a valuable asset which must be protected.

All work achieved is the result of the dedication and hard work of all group volunteers who value our natural environment and are prepared to give their valuable time to sustain and improve it.
